I’m Don Wood, a freelance designer and retired, award-winning educator living in Raleigh, North Carolina. In retirement, I write inspirational books for my Faith Reimagined book series, and create electronic paintings using Procreate. My higher education experience includes teaching business communication, publication design, journalism and leadership at Oakwood University, Indiana University, Howard University, Virginia Tech, and Winston-Salem State University. 

I have Lived, taught, and served in Maryland, Alabama, Indiana, Virginia and North Carolina. I'm a family man; the proud father of two adult children (Donald, Jr. and Summer) and one grandchild (Jaden). I and my wife Lynette have been married for 45+ adventure filled years. BTW, That logo on my hoodie is FR for Faith Reimagined. 

Often people look at the Woodcomm logo and wonder what it symbolizes. Printers will recognize it as a registration mark used to align print colors during the printing process. In addition I saw in this figure-ground symbol a satisfied client with arms raised in victory. That's what I want for anyone I serve!
